Just a decent option for a fleeting pause in Totnes with fantastic value for money. The beef and red wine pie was the best pie I've ever eaten. Tip, Make a reservation for dinner to enjoy the delicious food.

The noise from the bar area travels through paper-thin walls!!! Live music can disrupt sleep, while late-night commotion makes it hard to relax after hours!!!

We had a fantastic time at this charming pub. The fish and chips were fresh and the seafood chowder, though different from the picture, was quite enjoyable. Plus, the rooms were beautifully decorated and very comfortable!

I had an amazing stay with a comfortable room that included a nice fan to beat the heat, and an outstanding dinner with the best beef and red wine pie I've ever tasted. I would definitely return!

The ambiance was charming, improved with attentive staff. The room was superb, with convenient amenities like a fan for the warm weather. Although there was a frustrating wait for food, it was delicious and perfectly cooked upon arrival, with large portions that didn't disappoint. A highlight was the assortment of delectable muffins during breakfast.

I loved staying here because it was such a short walk to the charming Dartington Hall Estate and Gardens, which I enjoyed exploring each morning, and the historic Totnes Castle was an easy 20-minute stroll that allowed me to appreciate the local scenery along the way. The staff were friendly and efficient.

Fantastic food & friendly vibes!

Food was great, and the staff were super friendly. The location's spot on and easy to find after a little bit of wandering. Just a heads up, the coffee prep noise might get a bit loud if you're in room 3 and turning in early. It was a nice time!

My stay was good, as the staff at The Cott Inn were cute, creating a cosy atmosphere. Although the shower temperature fluctuated slightly, the food was excellent, particularly the breakfast, which added to my relaxing experience.

Charming Atmosphere with Delicious Food

The room was beautifully decorated, and the Sunday roast we had for dinner was really good. The highlight of our visit was the lovely full English breakfast served in the charming dining room the next morning! My only suggestion for improvement would be to ensure better parking management.
